Catalyst newsletter Winter 2010
Catalyst is an e-newsletter dedicated to projects delivered by LGC under the Chemical and Biological Metrology programme.
Over the past year there have been a number of scientific highlights of note, including:
Real-time measurements for nanoparticle safety testing
Identifying real and counterfeit products
Traceable measurements to support healthcare and the food industry
Novel cell imaging for tissue engineered products
Standardising biomarker measurement
There have been a number of published papers, successful collaborations with industrial partners, and a workshop to disseminate research on molecular measurement, with special focus on digial PCR.
