Accuracy in molecular measurement

The workshop 'Accuracy in Molecular measurement' was carried out under the Chemical and Biological Metrology programme in order to disseminate the outputs from the Project DX3 - Performance standards for early diagnostic test methods (Early diagnosis metrics), as well as to highlight the potential of the latest molecular techniques and discuss the essential considerations needed to ensure confidence in nucleic acid quantification.

Presentations included 'Clinical measurement of cell free DNA; Present and future possibilities', 'Standardisation, normalisation and the role of reference materials' and 'Ensuring accuracy in food analysis'.
