Glycoanalysis Best Practice Guide

This NMS Chemical and Biological Metrology programme supported guide has been produced under project BM4 - Measurement of key post translational modifications in biopharmaceuticals.  


The “Best Practice Guide” details the practical evaluation of different characterisation methods, broken down into sections for glycoproteins, glycopeptides, glycans and monosaccharides. The report can be used in an interactive manner with hyperlinks guiding the user through the report to the sections of interest. Navigational flow diagrams and easy inter-comparison performance tables provide at a glance the vital statistics of each approach. This guide also gives advice on sample preparation, clean up and labelling.

An interactive web format and a supplementary section detailing current regulatory guidelines will also be available soon.
