LGC's article on nanoparticles in sunscreens identified as 'hot article'

Dr Heidi Goenaga-Infante, LGC's Principal Scientist for elemental analysis and Dr Volker Nischwitz, LGC Science Leader have recently published a paper entitled 'Improved sample preparation and quality control for the characterisation of titanium dioxide nanoparticles in sunscreens using flow field flow fractionation on-line with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry'.
Published in Journal of Analytical Atomic Spectrometry, and identified by reviewers at a ‘hot article’, LGC’s paper was in the top 10 most downloaded papers in the first month the paper was published, demonstrating the importance of this research to the scientific community.
In addition, LGC's contribution to the front cover image was selected to be the front cover design for the special issue on nanoanalysis.
