Novel applications of multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry and laser ablation for isotope ratio measurements
This is the final project report describing the outcomes of the VAM 2003-2006 study on novel applications of ICPMS for authenticity, origin and forensic fingerprinting by laser ablation and the determination of sulfur isotopic variations by multi-collector ICP-MS.
Multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry and laser ablation sample introduction systems have been assessed for novel applications of isotope ratio measurement. This has been applied, primarily, to the determination of sulfur and lead isotopes.
